Stymphalian Birds

In Hercules sixth labour, Hercules meets the Stymphalianbirds. They were men eating birds and they lived near lake Stymphalia. They had iron, beaks, wings and claus and they were destroying crops, fruit trees and people. Yet, Hercules managed to drive out Stymphalian birdsusing brass bells. He shot many of them down with his bow and arrows.

Crete and Bridge of Arta

Crete           

Crete is favourite island of Greece. It's in the southern part of Greece. The capital city of Crete is Heraclion. Other important cities of Crete are Chanias, Lassitti and Rethymno. There are three mountains of Crete. The white mountain, Psiloritis and trhe Dicti mountain. You can see a lot of sights in Crete like the Palace of  Knossos and the Palace of  Phestou. You can see the archaeological museum. You can eat fresh fish fried shails and xerotigana. The famous products of Crete is the olive oil. In Crete you can see the wild goat Kri-Kri.

My favourite village is Arta.Arta is very beutiful.One sight is the bridge of Arta.There are a lot of  songs for this bridge.The view from the bridge is great.

Thessaloniki and Athens

Thessaloniki is in Greece. It's a very beautiful city. It is in the northern part of Greece. Thessaloniki is near the sea and there are lakes like Volvi. You can see a lot of sights there. The White Tower, the Castles, the Macedonian museum. We have the festival of cinema every year. You can eat bougatsa and gyros. In Thessaloniki thereb is a zoo with many animals.

Athens is the capital city of Greece. It is in the middle of Greece. It is a beautiful city.Athens has got a lot of cars. A lot of people live there about 5.000.000. There are many factories. In Athens there are many shopping  centres, sports centres and museums. Athens has got History!

Greece

We come from Greece, the most beautiful country in the world (in our opinion). The rich past of our country is known. We come from the second largest city in Greece. Our sity is Thessaloniki.

It has got a lot of islands and mountains. Greece is in the southwestern hemisphere. Also, our country haw got interesting history.

 The ancient Greeks thought that there were twelve Gods whose lived in the top of the highest mountain, Olymbus. The weather here is mild. In the summer times is hot and sunny and in the winters is cold,sunny and sometimes snows.

In my school there are two floors and fourteen classrooms. It is big but it has got small playground. There are sixteen boards and eleven compouters. There are fifteen maps. In the school yard there is a basketball court and a football field.

Russia and Germany

Russia

I come from Russia a country in Eastern Europe. It is between Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia and the sea of Okhotsk. I don't come from the capital Moscow. My hometown is Rostov. The average rate of living is about 62 for men and 74 for women. The weather in summer is warm. Rostov is a coast city. The weather in winter is cold. There are a few environmental problems. In the past we had some economic problems but nowadays things are getting better. I believe Russia is a beautiful country. I love it very much.

Germany

Germany is one of the most populated countries in Europe. It share borders with Poland, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg and Czech Republic. The country is mountainous. Germany hasn't got any natural problems. The capital of Germany is Berlin.

Italy.

The Italian Republic or Italy is a country in Southern Europe consisting of a shaped peninsula and two large islands of a shaped peninsula Sea: Sicily and Sardinia. Northern border with Switzerland and Aystria to the west by France and east by Slovenia. The highest pointis Mont Blanc at an altitude of 4,810 meters!

Italy is known for its arts, culture and several monuments, suchas the Tower of Pisa and Roman Kolosseum, as well aw for its food (pizza, pasta, et.), wine, lifestyle, fashion, desing, cinema, theater, literature , poetry, visual arts, music (notaby Opera), holidays, and more generally, to taste.

Football is the national sport of Italians and theri passion for the sport is obvious. Italy has won the World Cup four times.
